  Laura managed the settlement of both ours and my father's new properties. We live on the East Coast which made the whole process just a but more difficult. Laura was always available to answer questions and deal with issue as they came up. We always felt very confident that she was on top of everything. Can't recommend her and thank her enough.

  Absolutely astounded at the arrogance and hostility of this company. They only ever made contact to try to upsell extra services - strange from a business called "Flat rate settlements". When I declined their repeated offers to double the original fee for said services, their attitude changed dramatically for the worse. I had feedback from both my broker and the bank that the agent from flat rate actively or negligently tried to delay the deal and had not acted in good faith. I engaged another company and the property was settled with no further fuss. Despite this misconduct and the fact that they completed only a fraction of the job, they have relentlessly pursued me for the full fee and are now threatening to take me to court (I am unemployed and disabled). They are the opposite of what settlement agents should be.
